Our approach
xCelery are experts at facilitating workshops that harness lean and agile methodologies to identify opportunities and drive innovation. We act as your innovation facilitator – guiding you through ideation, collaboration, and structured problem-solving to help you find the best way forward.
In under a week, we take 4 steps:
- Consultation & planning: A 90-minute consultation to understand your business challenges and objectives for us to design a workshop tailored to your needs, whether it's a hackathon, design sprint, or idea competition.
- Participant preparation: We prep your participants with preliminary materials, set up online platforms (if needed), and schedule sessions and venues to ensure everyone hits the ground running.
- Expert Facilitation: Over 6 half-days, we guide participants through structured, collaborative activities to work towards the goal. We can also bring experts in for deeper insights.
- Outcomes and accountability: We consolidate the insights, ideas, and actionable solutions in a report, and (optionally) hold follow-up consultations and sessions to encourage accountability on action.
Types of workshops we run
1. Idea Sprint
A starting point for organisations to begin making use of the innovative capacity of your organisation or community. Identify opportunities, ideate solutions, and validating them with mockups and initial testing.
2. Product Sprint
This sprint is about committing to bringing potential solutions into the market. Build prototypes of high-potential solutions and validate it with user testing, understand their economic model and potential impact, and get a beta version into the hands of real customers.
3. Growth Sprint
This sprint is about building engines of growth for high-potential products. Set up and accelerate your organisation's systems to rapidly improve the product and the way real customers are driven to it.
4. Accelerator Sprint
For organisations and communities that want to build their own independent and sustained processes to support innovation, this workshop helps build an innovation strategy, sets up critical tools and assets for the accelerator, and builds people's knowledge and skills needed to sustain and grow the accelerator.
