The challenge
UNICEF, a global leader in children's rights and humanitarian aid, sought to harness the creativity and innovation of people in Asia to address their priority challenges. They needed suite of innovation management and entrepreneurial support programs that could identify tech talent to develop to create impactful solutions.
The Solution
xCelery was initially engaged to design and execute a 10-week accelerator program tailored for young innovators across Asia. The program began with a recruitment campaign to attract top talent. Participants were then organized into accountability groups to foster collaboration and support. Each group received one-on-one coaching and was connected with experts and resources relevant to their specific challenges.

Throughout the program, participants worked closely within their cohorts, following a structured approach to refine their ideas and develop solutions that could be implemented in their communities. The program was designed to be highly interactive, with a focus on peer support and continuous learning.
The Outcome
The accelerator program was a resounding success. The participants not only developed viable solutions but also formed strong networks of support through their accountability groups. Due to the program’s effectiveness, it was repeated and expanded into various other formats within UNICEF, continuing to inspire and empower young innovators across the region. UNICEF was highly satisfied with the outcomes, as the program aligned perfectly with their mission to foster technology innovation for social good.
